FTA’s 2016 Fall Conference featuring ‘Substrates & Beyond’

Ink on paper…ink on film…what works best? At Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) upcoming Fall Conference, the agenda spotlights a session dedicated to exploring the many types of substrates used in flexographic printing and how their surfaces are enhanced to accept ink film transfer. The 75-minute session, titled, “Substrates & Beyond” will take place Tuesday, October 11 from 3:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and will focus on everything from the unwind to the rewind, including coated treatments, corona treatment and web handling.

FTA’s Fall Conference, themed “Improving Today…Envisioning Tomorrow” will take place October 10-12 at The Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, KY, USA. Chairing the event are Eric Frank, KBA-Flexotecnica and Sean Teufler, Siegwerk.
